Helen Attridge
Director, International Trainer, Master Certified Coach

Helen Attridge became the director of the Academy of Coaching and NLP in 2009. She has been involved the personal development field for over twenty years and has been coaching for fourteen years. She is certified as a Master Certified Coach, which is the highest level of credentialing from the International Coaching Federation. She is also an NLP Master Practitioner.

Prior to becoming Director of ACN, Helen was an International Trainer for the NLP and Coaching Institute of California. She has trained in the tools and technologies developed by Tony Robbins and became a Results Coach for the Anthony Robbins Company, coaching CEOs and executives internationally. She is also Facilitator/Coach for Womensquest Outdoor Adventure Company where she shares her passion for the outdoors.

In addition to her training experience, Helen has built her own successful coaching practice. Currently Helen is working to empower leaders through coaching who are passionate about making a difference in the world. Helen’s global vision and training expertise are a result of many years of travel and training in different modalities of human development.

Born and raised in Ireland, Helen was drawn to coaching and personal development because of her innate talent to listen empathetically, as she was often asked by friends, family, and acquaintances to guide them through their life issues. Leaving Ireland at a young age, she has traveled extensively and worked her way through Europe, the Middle East, North America, Central America, Asia, and Australia.

While living in Australia, Helen studied social welfare and worked in the field with teens and families for almost a decade. Moving to the U.S in 1995, Helen began coaching at the Hoffman Institute, a leading international personal development company founded more than forty years ago in Northern California.

Helen’s expertise in NLP Coaching, Coactive coaching, social welfare, and her work around the globe have given her the insight and vision to lead ACN. Her philosophy is that the coaching client is creative and resourceful, and that a coaching partnership supports the client in awakening their full potential.

ACN uses an experiential model to train coaches, a model in which students learn to coach by being coached personally. This holistic model also ensures that coaches gain the coaching and interpersonal skills they need to make their practices successful. Having been involved in the coaching field for fourteen years, Helen has seen the incredible power that a coaching relationship can have in people’s lives. With Helen’s passion about spreading coaching internationally, ACN has set out to provide students with everything they need to create their vision for coaching and take their coaching practice into the world.
