Mentoring and Supervision

ACN ACTP Pathway

Once students have completed the 125 hour NLP Coach certification, ACN graduates are required to have a minimum of 10 supervised sessions as part of the ACN ACTP credentialing route. You must have completed full 125 hours of coach training, 10 hours of supervision and a minimum of a 100 coach/client hours to take the written and oral exam.

(ICF ACTP pathway requires that when ACN coaches take oral and written exam that they will pass at PCC skill set level, ICF credential will be dependent on number of coach/client hours)

Sessions are $160 per session or $1500 if paid for as a block of 10 sessions.

Receiving feedback from an experienced coach is an integral part of developing your skills as a new coach. An ACN Mentor Coach will provide you the helpful guidance you need to develop an understanding of how the ICF core coaching competencies can deepen your work with clients.

The sessions are offered by both PCC’s and MCC‘s who will give you specific feedback, input, and support on how to directly work with client caseload and move your client skill set to the next level. The feedback is designed to help you in reviewing individual short term client outcomes and how to work with your client on more long term goals. You will have an opportunity to explore a large variety of coaching tools and techniques to work with these clients. These sessions will involve a mixture of discussion and working with clients live with your supervisor present and listening to recorded sessions of your coaching work with clients. The sessions are designed directly with your mentors for maximum growth and learning. Our experienced Mentor Coaches have all been through ICF exam assessors training and will give you direct feedback on where your skill set is currently at and what specifically you need to do to take it to the next level of credentialing.

Benefits: This type of supervision and feedback creates very fast and effective learning and growth for coaches and is a type of advanced coach training that many coaches seek but are not sure where to find it.

Whether you’re a new coach or experienced coach, mentor coaching is a way to expand your finesse and enliven your skill set. Working with an ACN mentor coach over a number of sessions will provide the support you need to be the best coach you can be.

Not an ACN coach Graduate?

Coaches who have not gone through ACN and wish to apply for ICF using the portfolio route can receive required mentor sessions through ACN mentor coaches. Mentors will provide feedback on ICF core competencies and how to develop skill set to pass level of credentialing they are applying for.

** Letters of recommendation for coaches who have not gone through ACN’s program are dependent on the coach demonstrating a level of proficiency required to pass credential.
